Every Check sent to Ministry of Insured Salvation from Seipati's Hope will be posted here so you can see how the lives at MIS are being impacted. These amounts may not seem like much to some of you, but there is 15 cent for 1 Rand. These checks go a long way and sometimes come just in time. Since MIS is not government funded, they rely on support and donations from various churches and organizations. I am so thrilled to be a part of sending blessings to these wonderful kids!
Since small amounts were raised each month, I have been saving funds until a larger amount is able to be sent
The first check was sent in 2010 for $156.64 that supplied MIS with a whole months worth of electricity!
In February, 2011 I sent a check that was $397.71! This amount equaled R2,100. At the time this check was sent, MIS was out of electricity, which meant- all the computers were down. It was also exam time for some of the older kids and they had no way of studying for them. When the check arrived, it supplied MIS with over a month's worth of electricity! MIS runs on about 2000 Rand each month for electricity.
I will keep updating when I receive information on how this donation was used.
